Looks like John Szefc is on the "hot seat" in 2022.

He's been here for 4 years and 3.25 seasons. I don't follow Tech baseball recruiting, so I don't know the talent level coming in the next few years. Szefc is making $525,000 now. He has a new stadium and Tech is adding onto the indoor practice facility. When he was hired a few Maryland fans said that Szefc wasn't the man who built the Maryland program and that he took over a Terps program that was in good shape. Szefc took over a dumpster fire of a program when he arrived here. I just thought he'd have the program in the NCAA tournament by year 3 or 4. Tech is still a bottom third ACC program. I thought Tech would be in the mid tier by now. Maybe next season, Tech will finish 6-8 in the conference and make the NCAA Tournament? If not, it's time to find a new baseball coach. Tech should find a good baseball coach for $500,000 a year.
